Despite facing some challenges, Bruce navigates the world through his gentle, loyal demeanor. He appears to have limited eyesight, possibly some hearing loss, and diminished responses in his hind legs - but these challenges sure don't stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. He relies on his keen sense of smell and the gentle guidance of his people, learning routines and adapting to new surroundings with patience and positive reinforcement. 

Bruce is a gentle soul who adores human companionship. He loves to be near his people, whether it's for a quiet cuddle on the couch, a leisurely sniff-walk in a familiar, safe environment, or just a comforting hand on his fur. He's incredibly affectionate and expresses his joy by leaning in for more pets.

Because of his special needs, Bruce would thrive in a calm, predictable, and loving home. An environment with minimal stairs, consistent furniture placement, and a securely fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely explore. He would be best suited for an adult-only home or one with older, respectful children who understand how to interact gently with a dog who can't see or hear well and one with physical limitations too. He would also do wonderfully as an only dog or with a very calm, understanding canine companion.
